Director prints the Scene Graph at full size, so you can read the text on the nodes.
If your Scene Graph is too large to fit on a single page, Director will split it over as many pages as necessary. However, this may mean that some nodes straddle pages, so that part of a node appears on one page, and the rest on another page.
To correct this, check the Print Borders box; this makes the page borders appear as blue rectangles in the Scene Graph window. You can then see which nodes straddle a page border, and change the graph's layout so they no longer do so (see Laying out the graph).
